I'm Tommi. I founded Minara, and I do the training myself.
When you hire Minara, the senior person is the one in the room, not a name on the proposal who disappears after you sign. For larger or Arabic-language programs I bring in trainers and partners I trust, so size is never a reason to say no.
The path here
I started out as an officer in the Finnish Navy. I spent my twenties leading people, running weapons-system programs, and teaching at the officer school. That is where I learned to take something complicated and make it usable for other people.
Then came technology. Eight years at Nokia, then seventeen at Intel, where I ran some of our largest accounts and built new businesses across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Along the way I trained as an internal facilitator, and found that the part I enjoyed most was helping other people get better at their work.
In 2022 I decided to do that full time. First on my own, and now as Minara, working with leaders and teams across Europe and the Gulf and helping organizations put AI to real use.
Why I do this
Honestly, I just like learning, and always have. There is a good feeling that comes from getting decent at something you had no clue about a while ago. I want to help other people find that feeling, AI included. That is most of why I do this.
How I work
No hype, no jargon, no tech theater. I work with senior people who want to skip the noise and learn what actually helps them in practice.
I teach from what I use every day. AI is my own main working tool, so what we cover is what holds up in real work. And because I have carried real teams and real targets myself, I try to meet people as a peer rather than a guru.
For bigger assignments I can scale up. I have built full training programs and curriculums for both public and private organizations, and I have a network of experienced trainers I can bring in when a project needs more hands or more languages.

Minara means lighthouse. I'm a sailor, and a lighthouse is a simple, useful thing: it tells you where you are and where the danger lies, so you can choose your course. Good training should do the same. That is the idea behind the name.

A short conversation is the best place to start. No pitch, just an honest read on whether Minara fits where your team is headed.
